Think back to the last time you were experiencing a challenge in your life…
How did you manage it? What did you do? What did you tell yourself about your situation? Did you come out on the other side more aware, empowered, and ready to keep growing? Or did you limit your power and stifle your growth by blaming others and wallowing in self pity?
Times of challenge are really life’s way of “testing” us to help us grow and evolve to the next level of our own development. Challenges are also meant to wake us up and teach us what we need to learn the most. And it’s SO important to really understand how to handle life’s challenges so we don’t get stuck repeating the same mistakes over and over again!
YOU can use your next “challenge” as a catalyst for empowerment, freedom, and unbelievable opportunity. I will share with a little bit about my personal challenges I had this year.
My child was diagnosed with Diabetes recently, I did not know the first thing about this conditions. ( boy what a challenge) So the natural reaction was to cry. I had stopped crying because I did want my child to see me. So I went to the Doctor and asked her how did this happen. After the Doctors input on the condition it motivated me to go get as many books, cds, and literature on the conditon that I could.
In listening and reading I gained more knowledge of the condition and was more aware of the signs and affects it had on my child. I gained insight from teaching myself about the condition. I have also taught my child how to handle the condition better and she knows the signs of when she is high or low and she has the knowledge now to treat it as well.
I have grown a lot and have learned how to live with the condition. It was challenging but God does not put anything more on you than you can handle. I thank God daily for the challenge. I am more sensitive to other people conditions. I welcome challenges, because I want to grow more and become a better person for me, my child and soceity.
Life is about growing and moving forward, you live and you learn, you win some and you loose some.
push push push, keep on pushing……..
